Part of the legendary Zara Spook family famous for its ''walk-the-dog'' action, Heddon's Super Spook Jr. features an internal rattle, super strong hardware and a very durable body construction. Jimmy Houston improved this legendary lure with a horizontal construction body design that is destined to catch the eyes of game fish and anglers. To fish this topwater legend, use a rhythmic, slack-line retrieve that makes the Zara walk from left to right and back and forth. Lures are equipped with two Excalibur Rotating Treble Freshwater Hooks.

A:
I have quite a few of these and just decided to write a review because they are so awesome and from my experience Texas Shad is the number one performer for Large & Small mouth but I've only caught one Kentucky bass on that color

The bleeding shad has been the most successful for me. largemouth, smallmouth, pikes it even work well in salt water. I had catch redfish and bonitos on it. I don’t even try the other colors any more.

Yes. If there is any doubt, look at the hooks. Fresh water will be bronze, Saltwater will be silver.

A:
There are both Saltwater, and freshwater versions... I'd imagine the only real difference would be the type of metal on the lure, in order to make it more corrosion resistant in the salt. If you have a hard time finding the different types, just go to search and type 'spook', it should come up with the list of available options.

A:
The saltwater version comes with a slightly different hook other than that the actual Super Spook Jr. is exactly the same. They work in both freshwater and saltwater regardless what model you buy. Many people buy the saltwater models because of the colors offered and use them in strictly freshwater.. its a sales thing, the saltwater version comes with hooks that are supposed to stand up to the salt water better and won't corrode. Just buy the color you like the best, start throwing it and catch big fish! Good Luck!

The Junior is specified in its name as 'Spook Jr'.... If it doesn't say 'Jr', then its the standard super spook.

Super Spook
Weight: 7/8 oz.
Length: 5”
Hooks: three #4

Super Spook Jr.
Weight: 1/2 oz.
Length: 3-1/2”
Hooks: two #4

As you can see, it's not just the weight but size as well. Plus it has only 2 hooks.
