black/gold blade, smallest one you can throw #0 if possible, cast upstream into pools, crank slowly keep your rod tip low to get close to the bottom.

I use the pink body,silver blade!It seems to be the best color for the brook trout I tend to chase around!But it also depends on the day,if it's sunny try using the gold,silver,and on cloudy days or low light,try using the red,black,the rainbow trout pattern seems to work well also, but my favorite one is the pink and silver!

i would go with a red or blue spinner.if it is sunny use the red.
