No, the spool is too wide and there is no good way to attach the strap to a cable drum. However, the Lite Cruiser item number 38-532-611-00 comes with strap. ThanksDetails:

rolling weight means your boat trailer has rollers not bunks. If you have bunks use the pulling weight.A:

dial is to lock the spindle to the motor, with a loss of dc power good luck loading the winch handle that this product comes with is its only downfall, howerver a couple of nuts from your local hardware store jamed together and a 1/2 in breaker bar or lug wrench worked great for meA:
Yes...there's a crank attached to the back of the wench for loading manually.

If this is about the Trac winches, then yes they come with a manual crank handle, but it is tiny and very cheap. I wouldn't want to be stuck depending on it in a pinch.A:

the brake light system will not supply the amprage that the winch requires however if your using a 7 wire trailer connection i used the power cable on that to wire in mine

No. It requires too much current to run off any existing wiring in your trailer or truck. you'll need to run additional wiring or install a separate battery, which is why in my opinion electric winches aren't a practical option for most people.A:
Yes. You will need a 7 wire adapter for your plug. Bad side of this is you can not unplug your trailer lights. If you do your winch will not work.A:
I bought one in Feb. 2009. Ran a 30 amp fused wire from the battery to trailer light plug. Cut the clamp connectors off the power cord and hooked it to a plug for the connector. Had trouble with it all summer, it is now Nov. 2009 and the last two times out I had to hand crank the boat onto the trailer. Winch is coming off and putting a manual winch back on.A:
Well, yes, it can be wired to the brake circuit but chances are the first time you used it a combination of the following three things would happen:1. At best you would blow the fuse to your brake lights.
2. You will cook your brake light wiring and maybe more.
3. At worst, real expensive damage would happen to your vehicles electrical system.
As near as I can tell this winch has 30 amp protection and a set of alligator clips. The only real way to hard wire it is to run the appropriate sized wiring between the battery and winch plug. Same concept as your trailer light connector but with 8 gauge wires and bumper plug for the winch.
Wiring kits I have seen start at about 50 bucks.

I would like to know if this item has a better performance then the Trac Day-runner because from what I read about the trac day-runner is not impressive at all. And I need a product in that line, what do you suggest that I buy.Thank you...

All the neg feedback on this product is not accurate in my opion. I have two day runners and they work flawless. I guy said it won't pull my boat on. Mine won't either if the trailer is not backed into the lake were it should be and the battery does not have a good charge. I have 2 heavy 17 & 19ft G3's around 4000lb. each and it pulls them on with little effort. As far a wiring, I bring a deep cycle that I put in the bed at load time and is rigged with a quick connect. All I can say is that if I wear these out I will by more Trac'sA:
