Customer Reviews   Description   Outdoor Answers
Seaguar® Red Label™ Fluorocarbon Fishing Line is ideal for use as a freshwater main line with superior knot and tensile strength and nearly invisible performance. Constructed of 100% fluorocarbon and made with Level Wind Technology™, Seaguar’s exclusive design process that spools the line by laying it down on its side, never crossing for super smoothness without any line overstress or twist. It also eliminates cross contact marks to maintain line strength and spools and casts easier than other lines.

A:
I would say yes. I have this line on all my reels but have never used as leader. Very good line tried most brands and found this best for the money.

A:
This line will work for braid if you use a proper knot to connect the two. I have not had any problems with a uni to uni connection. I would recommend wrapping each uni knot 6-8 wraps and wet the knots well before cinching them together. If price is not an issue, I would go with the abrazx or invisx over the red label.

A:
No, in fact adding color to any fluorocarbon will make it weaker. Its as invisible as any other fluorocarbon, just a little bit thinner.
