Hi, if i need to lunch my 11 feet long inflatable boat with this trolling motor attach like it is suppose to "transom" , does the motor or shaft tilt ? so the propeller wont be touching the bottom of the ramp ?

Details: 
Is it difficult to separate the controller from the motor? I'd like to mount the motor on the rudder bracket (using the existing foot pedals to control the direction) and adjust the motor speed from the center of the kayak.

The vair-max great white worked well for me. 18" shaft 45 lbs thrust. Almost $300 though

I think best bet is to contact the maker, I noticed you can great request shaft lengths long then what the make so I assume you can have them make them short if needed
