You won't get the smell out...but what I do is wash it with dish soap after to get most of the grime out of it. When I use the glove however, I ALWAYS put a rubber glove on UNDER it to avoid having my hand smell since the smell gets impregnated in the glove without a THOROUGH washing.

I like to start by pouring some Hydrogen Peroxide on mine to clean all the blood out and then just wash. I also take a hose while cleaning lots of fish and with the highest pressure spray the gloves from the inside out. After that wash in a machine. I try not to use hot water.

I do not know if the Rapala Fillet glove will work but it is made of Kevlar which is the same thing as a bullet proof vest.

They're pretty lightweight, I don't think these gloves are what you're looking for.

A:
These gloves are manufactured out of steel yarn. They are intended to take a lot of beating, as the blade on a fillet knife is extremly sharp (for very clean and quick cuts). These should hold up very nicely against mulch.
