The Solterra Reel features a fully adjustable Magnetic Cast Control System as well as a lightweight corrosion-resistant graphite frame, forged-aluminum anodized spool, heat-resistant Carbonite drag system, 5HPB+1RB Stainless bearing drive system on all models except SLR-20L which has only 5HPB, quick-set anti-reverse roller bearing, dual anti-reverse system, ergo-grip-handle knob design, and tri-coated strong-arm level wind system.

Yes. Has a good clicker that will keep
the spool from turning too easily when
left in free-spool. I used it on a pier while
also fishing a lighter rig: left it in free-spool with clicker on and kept me from losing the rig.

Yes, power pro would be fine with this reel. I usually put on a 100 ft. wind on mono top shot in lieu of a shock leader. Max drag is 22# for both the 10L and 15L, 15# at strike.

The 10 may be a little large for constant casting on the heavy baits. It is definitely doable though.

also is it able to have a rod clamp or does it come with one. one last thing, does anyone think it would bee a good reel for light freestyle jigging.

Okuma typically packages their conventional reels with a rod clamp. They also make a high-speed version without the level-wind for freestyle jigging, but I haven't found it on BPS....
