A:
Due to the structure of braid over mono, there is very little stretch in braid. Even a small shock leader would give a little in a battle with a monster fish. Some applications such as the type of lure that you're using would probably require no leader. Hope this helps.

A:
I have never used a leader on any braid. I catch everytime I go out. Even fishing tournaments I don't use a leader.

A:
It can be used on both but I used it on my baitcaster and had a problem with it fraying and cutting while i was casting. Lost 2 lures from it. Don't know if i just got a bad spool or what. It is pretty cool looking though.

A:
don't know but I got some in and it's thin, not thicker than 12-14 pound monofiliment, so I put on baitcasting reels and now have some real strong yet castable line. I also got the 20 pound test and it's tiny in diameter and actually a bit thin and flexible to do well on bait cast reels.
