A:
Simple use a weighted hook and it should work just fine, you could bounce them off the bottom or reel in slowly to keep it under 2-4ft of water

Owner® Weighted Beast™ with TwistLock® Hooks - Model 5130W

1/4 counce is my preference in heavy cover. 1/8 ounce is okay where there isn't much slop. Keep them moving. I've had bass run 25 feet from under cover to hit these.

A:
The kit comes with 5 weighted swim bait hooks but if you need more here is what I would recommend. You will probably want to stay with a 5/0 or larger. Also a shaft weighted hook is needed to get the bait to run properly. If you run a search at the top of this page for "swim bait hook" it will bring back several options to choose from.

A:
There are many ways to rig the hollow body swimbaits. You can put them on a jig head to fish open water areas like main lake points or go the traditional route and run them on a weighted swimbait hook. Many people like to add a treble hook stinger to them using a barrel swivel and split ring to increase the number of hook ups on fish that swat at the baits.

No matter how you rig them the most widely accepted fishing method is to cast the bait out, let it sink to the desired depth, and then make a steady retrieve back to the boat.

A:
The kit comes with 6 different colors: Sexy Shad, Rainbow Trout, Gizzard Shad, Blue Back Herring, Hickory Shad, and Threadfin Shad. The best way to rig any hollow belly swimbait is with a large wide gap worm hook weighted on the shank. This kit comes with 5 weighted hooks. You can fish them a variety of ways but the most common would be to let the lure fall to the desired depth and then start a slow, steady retrieve.
