''The skirts of these jigs are the key to their action. You can work one dead slow and still have a great, realistic profile. It’s a perfect imitation of a slow-moving crawfish.''

Fish it in rocks and dropoffs. anywhere else it will jam in a branch or get tangled in weeds. Trust me though, on rockpiles, it is KILLER on smallmouth!. for a trailer, go with yum crawpapi or yamamoto medium fat craw. I like the craw papi best, but the yamamoto is more versatile.

Go with the 3/8 one and any trailer would really work. I like the Strike King Perfect Plastic with Coffee Scent

Either heavy (20LB) flourocarbon or braid. Braid works well if fishing in cover, flouro in open/clear water. I usually fish these jigs on 50-65 LB braid in all conditions, the bass don't seem to mind the braid! ;)

I use 50# PowerPro Braid. Its an extremely tough line that has no stretch and is ultra sensitive.

I use superline like crystal fireline. When you're fishing heavy cover you need stronger line that is very resistant to abrasion. I use 14lb fireline for my flippin' and pitchin'. Fireline is just one of the superlines you can use though.
