Details:
I just bought one and it swims on its side, and just flops on top of the water with anything faster than a super super slow retrieve. The only good action I have gotten is when I jerk, let it sink, jerk, etc etc. I assume this is a bad one I should return?

It's not just cuts... the "joint" is molded so that the connecting material between the sections is about 1/6 the maximum thickness. The adjoining section extends over the "joint" kind of like a bevel-in-vee design,

Not jointed but the "cuts" give it incredible action. I have caught largemouths, smallmouths, catfish , gar pike and spawning salmon on this lure. For smallmouths I fish it in real fast current pulling it fast until it breaks the surface then let it fall back and they destroy it!

Just as the question states. I'm sure ill find out soon enough when it comes off of backorder but I dont see anything here that says it. Other websites say they offer it in other colors and sizes aswell.
