Confidently cast where the fish are with Spiderwire Stealth Braid Line. Spiderwire Stealth gives you the sensitivity to feel the lightest bite, the control you need for a secure hookset and the strength to endure the toughest fish. Because of a unique Teflon® pressure-treating process and ultra-tight weave construction, Stealth maintains a reliable round cross-section, is super quiet and cruises through the guides without cutting. Stealth Braid will also hold its color better than the competition, and its round shape reduces backlashes and resists digging-in on reels. Color: Moss Green. 125 yards spool.

I've never had much success using any kind of braid on a spinning reel. You may want to consider trying a lighter lb. test braid, or if that doesnt help, switching to fluorocarbon or mono on your spinning gear.

I just switched from Spiderwire to Stren Sonic Braid because of the knots and tangles. No problems with the Stren braid so far.

A:
6 pounds! A 6 pound braided line will knot and tangle often. Suggest that you use a minimum of 10 pound line.

A:
It is equal to 6 pound mono. The difference is that the briad is a thinner diameter more closer to 1/2 the diameter and it does not stretch like mono. Braid also doesn't have any memory so when you cast it lays flat no curls.

Stealth does not come in 12lb test. There is a 10lb test which is 2lb diameter and there is a 15lb test which is a 4lb diameter.

A:
30 is the pound the line is rated to hold up to, 8 is the diameter that the line is in monofilement, so 30 pound braid is equal to the same diameter as 8 pound mono

A:
30/8 refers to the line strength/Monofilament equivalent diameter of the braid.

This means that 30 pound test braid is the diameter of 8 pound test monofilament. You can use this as a guide so you know how much you need and approximately how much backing you need to fill your reel.

A:
I have not read this anywhere, although it may refer to lead-core line which can have a braid covering the lead. Braided line behaves pretty much like monofilament does, although I'm not sure if it reaches deeper depths like flourocarbon does.
