Because the Lounge Seat is constructed with high-quality molded plastic, you don’t have to fear the frame rotting, mildewing or softening due to the elements. The seat's premium-grade, 4'' thick, high-density polyurethane compression foam padding provides all-day comfort and is covered with a plastic moisture barrier for extra protection. The seat's heavy-duty, marine-grade, 28 oz. vinyl upholstery is designed to repel mildew and to resist fading from UV rays and is double-stitched with Dacron polyester thread for a great look, durability and strength to provide years of luxurious seating. In addition to the 4'' thick, resilient padding, the Lounge Seat has an extra layer of foam sewn into the vinyl upholstery providing even more comfort. Two 11” long piano-style hinges permit the ultra-comfortable seat cushion to lift, revealing additional storage space below. Seat back must rest against pontoon railing.
