A:
This would be dependent on the user of the bow. As long as the bow fits between the specifications of your draw length and draw weight, you should be fine in using this bow. For more information on how to find your draw length and draw weight, please visit https://basspro.custhelp.com/app/an....

my 13yr old is right handed but left eyed dominant and is unable to close his left eye keeping the right open. While shooting his rifles have him wear an eye patch over his left eye. He is really wanting this bow but I am not sure if it is a good idea. Any suggestions? Should he learn to shoot left handed, keep wearing his eye patch, or will the left eye dominant even affect him shooting a right handed bow? Will consider any suggestions..... Thank you

thats is the same situation as me. i do everything with my right hand but when it comes to shooting im left eye dominant. go with a left handed bow. thats what ive been doing for the past 10 years and i shoot just fine. i started off shooting right handed then when i found out i was left eye dominant my accuracy improved when i switched. so my suggestion is let him do what comes natural. hope it helps.

Your best bet is to go to your local archery specific shop. They will be able to assist with any bow and get you all setup. Prices can very extremely though. Bow strings can range from $40 up to $200 range depending on brand and quality. Your local shop can give you suggestions for your bow.

If you bought the package all you need is a release and arrows. Releases start around 20 bucks and inexpensive arrows start at 40 bucks a half dozen but they need to be cut to size depending on your draw length.

No real answer because it all depends on what you want. Releases can range from $30-$150 and arrows can have almost as wide a range depending on how much you want to spend.

In regards to draw weight I would check with your state regulations to see what you are legally able to hunt at. In WI you must have a draw weight of 35lbs but IL is 40lbs.

As long as you aren't over 29" draw length, and looking to pull over 60lbs, then there is no reason you can't use this bow. It's marketed for youth, women and small framed people. But as long as you fit the parameters of the bow, it'll work just fine for you. This bow is just fine for kids target shooting all the way up to adult men shooting Elk. And yes, this bow is easily capable of taking down a bull Elk.

It's a good bow for the money and shouldn't be any reason why and adult man cannot shoot it, as it has draw length of 19" up 29" and max draw weight of 60lbs.

I'm not sure of the lowest poundage, but it has a max of 60lbs. If you have an archery shop close by, they should have a scale they can pull it on to find out what your poundage is set at.

Max weight is usually right around 60lb , the only way to know for sure is to take to bow shop or use a scale used to weigh deer. pull down till it reaches the cams break over, this will give you your poundage on bow, after the breakover it will decrease in pounds , this gives you tha poundage of left off you are holding at full draw.

It will be full poundage only when the draw is 29 inches. My son shoots 25 inches and it is just over 50 lbs. He started at 23 inches and it was around 42. Get a handheld bow scale that measures the poundage when you draw. I have used one for years.
