If I am not mistaken the Delta 3 comes with the 10 Lb on it and if not it is rated for the 10 LB. If I could repurchase I would go with the Delta 3 instead. A little heavier but when the bass are larger than the 3 lbs, you need it. I did land a 5 lb on my Delta 2 but it took after thing it had to reel it in and I was scared the line would break and the rod too. It was bent all the way over. But it was fun!!! If it had been in a tournament I would have definitely been upset if I had lost it. Good fishing.A:
Yes...The Delta 3 does come pre-spooled w/ 10 lb. mono....As does most all Zebco medium action reels. (such as all the '33' models). The line is made by Zebco I believe, and Zebco isn't known for its fantastic line. So, I always re-spool my new Zebcos w/ 8, 10 or 12 lb. Stren or Trilene, depending on what your fishing for. These reels are actually a Heavy Duty Version of the Famous "33" in my opinion. Not sure why they don't market it that way. A very good reel.1 of 1
