How easy is it to wash?

Details: 
I plan to use this primarily for surf fishing off of the beach... it looks like a fantastic box, but i'm worried that it will be too much of a hassle to wash off the sand and mud that will get on it...

I know that the cooler is removable, but are the other two pockets removable as well?

The side parts are not removable, but I think you could wash them without too much effort

Nope.

You wouldn't be able to use it over-the-shoulder even if it had a strap. It's quite bulky and heavy. =]
