Too rigid for bass?

Details:
I want to pair one of these with a Lew's Speed Spool for bass fishing. The lure weight ratings seem appropriate for a variety of bass lures but the heavy line ratings make me think the rod would be too rigid for a lot of techniques. Are they flexible enough to fish bass?

i realize this rod wasn't really built for it but am impressed with the weight & design; i am just curious as to how this rod would handle crankbaits & spinnerbaits up to 3/4 oz?

A:
Yes this rod handles heavy spinnerbaits very well, but I cant say personally about the crankbaits. Not a big cranker.
