Ideal camo hunting pants for bowhunters, ArcticShield® Essentials Hunting Pant offer maximum warmth with minimal bulk. ArcticShield's exclusive technology utilizes a multi-layered thermal barrier that captures and returns up to 97% of your body heat. By positioning an aluminized middle layer between advanced thermoplastic fabrics, this heat reflection and return method is more effective than thick traditional insulations that only slow body heat loss. Innovatively thin and unbelievably warm, this clothing provides great insulation and breathable wind- and waterproof protection as well.

I wear a 38 waist and 32 inseam and still have plenty of room with an XL in the 3.1 bibs. The XL should work for you in the pants I bet.

It truly depends on what base layers you wear, the activity, and your body.

Overall I'd say YES they're good for 10 degrees and less if you have some solid base layer clothing underneath!

When I bought my 3.1 bibs there was a sticker on them that stated they were good for -10 degrees or something like that. If you read the reviews about how warm these get while walking around-- I would STRONGLY agree. I wore a pair of basketball shorts under the bibs all day in 15 degree weather with about 6 inches of snow on the ground and was sweating like a dog just from the minimal activity I was doing. These are the best cold weather clothes out there!
