A:
Single. One Pump per shot. I had one back in the 50's. We would take the screw in magazine out of the barrel to load the BB's. There was a hole to load
one at a time. We put theBB's in our mouth and blew them into the hole. We could load the 50 BB Magazine in a mater of seconds. Great fun and once you got use to the drop, you could hit a straw on the ground at 50 paces.

A:
NO !!! ... This is NOT like an Airsoft.... This gun WILL pierce skin, and if a person is hit in certain places it can even kill... It should be treated as you would treat a real gun. It should NEVER be shot an another person, or even pointed at another person.

No they are too big to fit the bore. Airsoft bb's are somewhere around .25 cal (what ever 5mm works out to) this particular air rifle shoots .177

I have a scope mounted. I have never broken the gun down. We travel with it in tact in a sleeve case. The barrel hinge is secured in place by a roll pin and not a hinge bolt. It does the job well but I don't know if I would want to mess with it.

the barrel is NOT rifled, it's pretty useless to have rifle barrel for steel bb. And I found this rifle to be very inaccurate compared to the red ryder

There is no new bb's made in this caliber, but you can substitute #6 shot from a shotgun shell. Velocity with original or shotgun shot will be between 100-150fps.

The trigger is made of plastic, but I wouldn't falt the new 25 for this one short coming. Otherwise it's pretty close to the one I had 60 years ago. Wood stock is nice!
Muzzle velocity of these guns is about 350fps.

The fps is 350. As for the trigger, Daisy could have cut corners and gone with a plastic one, but they didn't--it's steel!

This gun really feels good. Daisy did a great job mixing the traditional styling of the Model 25 with today's more advanced engineering.
