does it rub off easy

If you allow the paint ample time to dry, you won't find that it rubs off. However fish after toothy fish you will find that it chips. If you are targeting toothy, aggressive fish like me, trying using PRO-TEC Powder Paints! No mess and almost chip proof!

This stuff is quite translucent. Has a few bad reviews.

Instead, for any lure, including spoons, I would go to the 99 cent store and pick up some ladies nail polish... Same effect, easier application, same overall cost effectiveness.
