the only holes are were the hitch attachment is, you could fill it about 3/4 with water.

Details: 
I just want to know how much wieght you can have in the sled before the hitch points rip out, when (for example) - taking off from a dead stop.

We spoke with the manufacture and they could not provide an exact measurement of the sled’s thickness. Because the sleds are rotationally molded the thickness will vary depending on which part of the sled is measured. For example, the sled runners will affect the sled’s thickness in places.

Although FLYBPS says no, unless there are drainage holes in the bottom it will float. It will support the amount of water it displaces. So if the volume of water displaced is say 10 gallons, then this would float about 83 pounds (approx 8.3 pounds per gallon). I don't know how stable it would be and the higher the load the less stable it will be.
