How do I make it work?

Details:
How should I use this? Could not float a fly with it. Using spinning gear in fast moving creek, very disappointed. Would not keep fly dry! Tried just enough to cover fly, gobbed it on. Let dressing set in for 10-15 min. Gave up!

fishnbuck, don't be dissapointed, nothing wrong with the floatant. everything else is wrong. Try this; Flyrod with floating line, long tapered leader, tie on your dry fly, cast up into current, let it drift down. dry fly will float perfectly all the way down to you. You will have to apply floatant after you have caught a fish or two. then you dab a small amount on to your forefinger and thumb and rub onto your dry fly. NIX the spinning gear and use bushier dry flys on fast water.
