how do you attach the buckle straps when there is no matching ends for the plastic buckles and the kit gives no info about how to make it look like

Details:

ends don't have anything to snap into? Also
do I need to buy poles or something to hold the rainfly above the cot. I have a basspro oversize cot I am trying to attach the rainfly to.

If this is an oversize cot, and not an oversize Tent cot , then the rainfly will not work on your unit. Rainflys are applied specifically for Tentcots only. Thanks

The camo fly this question is under folds/rolls up and takes very little space, but the tent cots themselves are not intended to be backpacked anywhere. The oversize when foleded up is about 34x35x5.5". The double is about 53x33x7.5".

The Tent Cot brand is bigger than the the only competitor out there, so it should fit the others, but I have not tried. I know the Tent Cots have a an arched ceiling and the other don't so if anything, it will be loose on the other brand.
