The small ones are about 1/8" diameter and 3/16" long. Large is 1/4" dia. and 3/8" long. They were easy to put baits on and they also tore my baits easily when short strikes occur,

What are you attaching to the hook? Frogs can take a medium or large pin. Swimbaits can take medium.

In most circumstances I would use the Large. But if a narrow bait is to be pinned go, down to a Medium.

It would depend on the size of bait I was using. Since I usually throw 4"-6" soft plastics, I use the medium-sized ones. Oh,I'm using either 4/0 or 5/0 hooks
