A:
You will need a scale to ensure that the powder thrown is consistent, and accurate. Each powder is different, and will be adjusted differently depending on charge required. You can make note of the settings for powder charges, and that will get you pretty close, but there will be differences even between powder lots that will require fine adjustment.

What else do I need?

Details:
I am new to reloading and I would like to reload .223 rifle, 9mm handgun, 38 special handgun, .357 magnum handgun, and .380 handgun ammo. Is this everything I need? Or do I need a scale, deburring tool, etc? Can an experienced reloaded help?

A:
You'll also need tools to clean the cases, check the length of cases, along with trimming/deburring the cases if necessary. You'll need a set of dies for each calibre you're reloading and with a progressive, a shellplate for each also. The .38 and .357 should use the same for both shellplate and dies, but they are the exceptions. You'll also need a scale of some sort to initially adjust the powder charge, and to check it periodically to ensure the powder thrown is what is expected. Then, after assembling all your parts, you'll need containers to hold all the cartridges you've created !

You will need a trimmer of some kind-get one that comes with all the collets and a chamfering/deburring tool(Lyman's universal trimmer or the rcbs trimmer $80-120), calipers(auto parts store-one that measures to .0005 is good enough $30), balance beam scale for powder weight checking -get a lee it is accurate enough for powder weighing and will save you money. But check prices here and on ebay for these components it may save you money. You may even be able to get a better brand of scale for your money. That is all the extra's you will need--LOAD DATA go to your powder manufacturer's website or just go to hogdon's powder website they have pages of load and they are update every once in a while. That will save you mone for a book. Take your time and enjoy

No you will need a balance beam scale(accuracy and price-go with lee unless you want to spend more) -if you plan to weigh cases, bullets and completed cartridges go with a better scale!, Trimmer with a chamfer deburring tool-make sure it has all your collets.
Dial calipers to measure length, ogive headspace or whatever you decide to get pressed about in the future. DO WORRY ABOUT LENGTH THOUGH.
book on loads or use internet connection and go to hogdon's or your favorite powder manufacturer for loading data.
HAVE FUN!

Get this Hornady L-N-L kit and the dies you need for your calibers. Make sure you get a reloading manual and it will tell you which powders, primers and bullets for everything you want to reload.

You are better off getting a good press like this first then you will not have to spend more money later on to buy this press for an upgrade.
Hope this helps
