There are rubber snuggers that hold the firearms to give a secure fit.

Usually the grips are deep enough where a gun couldn't fall out of them. I have bought some like these in the past and they come in the box with a rubber strap that is supposed to attach from one side to the other, but they are the most flemsy straps that are not very secure.A:
