It will take out a LOT of it. Won't eliminate it, you might also have your bow tech twist your string to make all the fibers a little tighter and make sure you have some string leeches on your strings.

You'll want to serve about a 1 or 2 in strip of you bow string, where it makes contact with the stopper. it keeps from wearing out your string where it hits the stopper.

Serving the Bow string is when you wrap another string around the bow string. Just like where you nock your arrow. This adds protection to the Bow string so it won't show wear

you have to serve up your string where the dampener comes in contact with it. otherwise your string will wear faster
