Just wondering if this pack is capable of using the 3 tech-lok straps to secure small tree steps like muddy sticks / lone wolf...If so, how well does pack carry 10 lbs of weight secured by these straps?

It carry's stands and sticks securely. But depending on the size, you might want to have additional cam lock straps or any other small accessory straps for gear. This will allow you to cinch the stick and stand more securely. I carried stand and sticks which weighed about 20 pounds all together with no problem.Details:

Do not have to detach the quiver.

A pouch comes out of the bottom that the bow cam sits in. Then you strap the bow into the three straps. I kept my quiver on. It is not perfect, but it works.Keep in mind, this harness is time consuming and is only practical if you are going to be walking for 45+ minutes while NOT hunting. However, my friend had a much more expensive pack that he bought for its bow harness features and his was just as unpractical.

I just bought this last night from BP. the quiver will fit on the bow on the pack. if you have a parallel limb bow like I do, the bow barely fits in the bottom pocket. but does slightly. no pack out there right now supports the parallel limb bow that I have seen.Details:

I carry my new PSE Dream Season EVO with quiver and arrows with no problems. The pouch has plenty of room and cinches very nicely without moving around, you could crawl, climb, fourge creeks and climb into treestands with no problem. But not for carrying on the ready to shoot. It works for it's intended purpose; to carry your bow into and out of the hunting site.

I don't know of any pack made specifically for LH/RH bows. Turn the bow over or around so the quiver does not interfere. Or you can do what I did and get an extra quickie quiver attachment and secure it to your pack. that way your bow can be strapped to it and the quiver is out of the way. When I am in a tree, I do not like my quiver on my bow so I now have it on the side of my pack. ( I used to take it off and place inside the pack loosley) You just have to find the right place for you, it has been great!Answers

Nope, it sure is not waterproof. On the other hand, If something needs to be waterproofed, you can always use a cover or a ziplock bag.1 of 1
