Not sure if they are ever going to make them again...however, you can use the "weighted dots or strips" to make them sink at desired rate.

A:
I was happy that Storm reintroduced this old lure for one reason. Even though it is a very difficult lure to cast for bass in a breeze and is only moderately effective for largemouth, there is an application for which it is outstanding. Trolled on a weighted line, it is a superior lure for catching big white bass in good numbers.

I'd have to say the rapala is the best but the shapes are entirely different and sometimes the bass will prefer one over the other ann can change from day to day.

although it may look like a spoon it really isn't. it's a kind of minnow/flash bait, that has a lip and dives down several feet, and i don't know if it would work in missouri. sorry

The outside edges are shaped like a FAT spoon but the sides are convex as opposed to concave.

This lure is very narrow with flat sides, but not quite as thin as a spoon. The lure acts a lot like a spoon, producing an erratic, darting action. This will definitely catch fish in Missouri.

A:
They do float while at rest. As for the rattles, Storm at one time did make a rattling thin fin as well, but I haven't seen them for quite some time either. I never liked the rattling version because it was much thicker than the original. The action was not the same and I caught fewer fish with the rattles.
