I was hunting at temperatures of 50 degress to 75 degress (mid October in NC). I was comfortable at 50 degress with the under shirt and a thin pull over shirt, but when the temperature reached 70 degress it was way to hot.

Hand down the best cold gear I ever purchaced, It feels like it adjusts to conditions, from cold to mild seems to change as temp changes, I feel as if wicks sweat away so good it actualy feels as if it gets liter as it warms up. Value for the buck is great, you buy one of there products and when you shop again you won't look for any other brand !! Best part is non binding and outer cloths seem to slide on with out bunching up !!

I too have big temp fluctuations during the day in late deer season. I haven't had any problems with wear and tear on my underarmour, but I keep it in a plastic tub with cedar blocks when not hunting for scent control. If field dressing deer with several layers on you might have to shed a few to keep from overheating. It is definitely worth buying for heat preservation during hunting, but if you wear the same clothing doing jobs around the house you need to buy 2 pair and keep one only for hunting!

it should hold up fine, if you wear it as a base layer or if you aren't walking through thorn bushes as an outer layer. If your temperature changes that much in a day i would go with this product. mobilty is good and the material stretches so if you get sweatie and it sticks to you it will have give and wont wear out the stitching, giving it a longer life span. i would say it is worth the buy.

I think so, but your real scent problems are from your head/hat, hands, and breath. I keep all my hunting great in a plastic tub with cedar blocks/shavings just to be sure of no lingering scent issues on all my clothing. The underarmour is airtight so your core body is pretty much scentless with this top.
