Yes it can be rigged weedless. Make a tiny shakey head out of it. Take a hitch hiker, which is a cork screw that can attached to the eye of your normal jig head. Then screw the bait on the cork screw and then insert the hook into the bait.

depends on depth if you can see and cast to the fish go light like a 1/32 oz if not i would say 1/16 oz up to 1/4 oz but experiment what works
