.224 actual diameter. These bullets can be used in the 223 remingtons such as those in the AR platform and can be used in the .22 Hornet. In the AR you would probably want a fast twist like a 1:10

No they are not a loaded cartridge. Just the bullet. .22 LR are rimfire rounds are and generally 34-40 grain bullets in round nose lead or copper plate hollow points. There are a lot of choices iin the .22LRA:

either pistol , revolver , or rifle use the Aguila super maximum catrridges they are fast and work great for me
