How do you secure the radio inside of the Gimbal housing. The radio slides in and fits nicely but it is not secure.

There are no mounting holes in the Gimbal housing to attach a bracket or screws to fasten with.

It can by using the 2 keys included, but the face plate is removable so really no need in taking the whole thing out.

No, the radio itself is permanent once installed because the connections in the back are wire twist tied together. The unit does come with a detachable faceplate so that can be taken off easily.1 of 1
