A: 
I own a Piranha Max 190C and it does a very good job of show brush piles, stumps, grasses, and bottom structures. The color of the screen really does not make it easier to pick out the structures. It does make it easier to see when you are out of the water fishing. For the best possible view of the structures, I would suggest buying a unit with the highest resolution and most power that you can afford.

Unfortunately, it is up to everyone’s own personal preference on whether or not the colored screen is better than the black and white screen. However, the color screen will show different variations with each color. This may make it easier to decipher between different items below water. Thank you!

This unit is compatible with multiple types of Shoot-Thru-Hull Transducers. However, the standard transducer that comes with this model is a Transom Mount Transducer. Thank you!

Yes, any of the current Humminbird models have adaptor plugs to hook into the Minn Kota PDV2 and Terrova.
