I have had all kinds of ducks land in a spread of just Mallard decoys. I have had friends that had only mallard and teal decoys out and had several wood ducks cup and land. If you specifically know what duck you want I would go with that type of decoy, but remember, all ducks are looking for a place to rest or feed, that is what you are showing with your spread.A:
Both species seem to hang around backwater areas with overhanging trees and bullrushes, I know Woodies will land in a Teal spread. The big trick is to hunt where Oaks hang over the water ;)A:
In my personal experiences wood ducks have always landed in any spread that we've had out, i see no reason why they wouldnt land in them.1 of 1
